Awesome Presidential Grounds for such a great President. This is well worth a two day visit to walk the grounds, buildings, chapel and library. The boyhood original home on the grounds is difficult to get tickets for as you can not purchase in advance and daily slots are limited. Also, you can no longer access the second floor due to structural concerns.

Enjoyed touring the chapel and the library exhibit on famous women during the Eisenhower years. The Eisenhower boyhood home and the museum were the highlights. Great representation of IKE's early years, military, Presidential and later life achievements.

This should be a must for kids and adults to learn about history. We found the museum to be exceptional, informative, and very interesting. I thought I knew Eisenhower fairly well but was impressed by his life and achievements. And his wife, well, she was his rock! She had a great sense of humor, too! The library was filled with gifts various leaders around the world sent to the president. Some from surprising sources. The surprise, at least to me, was that the president and first lady were interned here on the grounds. It was a sobering moment to be in the Place of Meditation! I have been to the Richard Nixon Museum and birthplace in Yorba Linda, Ca, the Ronald Reagan Museum in Simi Valley, Ca and the Eisenhower Library and Museum rates right there with them both! A very enjoyable time!

Fabulous overview of the life and career of one of our most seriously underappreciated presidents. State of the art facilities. Friendly staff. Come to learn what true leadership looks like. I like Ike. 😀 …

Wonderful museum for an extraordinary patriot 🇺🇸 Learned so much about President Eisenhower. Left truly inspired. Loved the grounds. Loved that they’ve kept up the library , museum & meditation building so well, but have left it very much of its original design. The older architecture adds to the charm. Have always regarded the Eisenhower couple with great esteem, but the visit to the museum gave even more insight to their life & presidency.

Very nice museum worth a visit. It does a good job outlining the life of Eisenhower without getting too bogged down in minutia. The website says to plan on 3 hours, but I saw the museum in about 1 (and no, I didn't hurry). There are quite a few pieces including the actual table where the D-Day invasion was planned. Lovely grounds that are also close to the other museums, so one could park here and visit most of the other museums in town with a very short walk. My main beef is that the boyhood home was closed, the gift shop was closed and the library was closed and yet they charge the full $15. In my opinion, if they are going to close half of the facility then they should charge half of that price.

Amazing place. This is a great tribute to a true American hero and leader that stood for this country and everyone in it. From humble beginnings on (the wrong side of the tracks) to the leader of the free world. What a remarkable story and history that is told and unveiled for you when you visit. So much to learn and understand I would recommend a two day visit to see and learn it all about one of the greatest Generals and Presidents the US has ever had.
